My raptor 350 is making a creeking sound when i frive it around threw the bumpier trails. It does it if i shake it from side to side also. I greased up all the fittings after every ride and they all have plenty of grease. I also sprayed the mmoving parts with lithum grease and wd-40 but the creek wont stop!! its really makin me mad casue i can here exactly where its comin from but it sounds like its around where the swing arm conects to the frame or mabye the rear shock area. Could anyone help me out thanx

hey, my Rancher was making an annoying creaking noise when i was hitting bumps one day and it was driving me nuts!! it was coming from the back by where the rear swingarm is and the rear shock and stuff. I was doing some dry dusty riding a few weeks before it, and i though i had a dry bushing or something. You wanna know what it was?? the latch that holds my seat on!!!!! i just took the dipstick out of the engine and spread the oil from the dipstick onto the latch. Noise is gone, might want to check that, might be something simple like that.

My 660 had the same problem. Last night I pulled the bolt from the top of the rear shock where it mounts to the frame and greased the hell outta it. It's nice and quiet now.

(just figured i would use this thread instead of makeing a new one.)

anyways. my 350 is doing this and it JUST started last night. i greased everything that i could grease or lube in the back and it is STILL making this sound. im stumped. could it be something inside of the axle or swingarm??

when you stand on it and shake from side to side it makes the noise. and i was told by a friend i should lift it up and actually try and shift the axle side to side and see if it moves. so i did that and it only slightly very slightly moves from side to side. could something be loose???

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED
thanks, Andrew
