rappy vs banshee today

well today i raced my raptor vs. a modded banshee i have mods listed in my sig and i was running really lean my plug is nice and white. the banshee had duel piped filter cool head and elka suspension we raced on loose dirt at carnigee today i thought i was done for but man that rappy with the mods i have is fast the first run was a even start and i pulled him a little bit on top end and second i had a bad start and gunned him down for what we called a tie. are all banshees with theses mods this slow? i thought they were allot faster but man can they whip doughnuts so much faster then the rappy but its ok cuz we were doing them around my truck and the picnic table really big and wide drifting and he couldn't hang with me any ways just wanted to know if it was just this banshee or are all about even with a raptor with stated mods oh and he had holeshots on and i had my stockers on the dirt out there eats up tires i don't run my good tires out there
also i was wondering if running lean all day hurt my motor plug was nice and white and was running really hot just wondering
"Edit" oh and i blew up my dirt bike out there on a hill climb bigger then i have ever seen i was toped out for over 30 seconds know motor wont run right and rod is knocking but man was it a fun ride like 75 degree incline and looose thats why it blew no traction

Oh yeah, a piped Raptor will run with a piped Banshee. A good pipe and open intake, a Raptor is a lot faster than most people think (if it's jetted properly).....................Just watch out for them Banshees with internal mods. They're the ones that will come screaming by you...........
Don't know what mods you have but it sounds like you need to redo your jetting.

So you outran a banshee on loose dirt? That's not a really big accomplishment. A 4 stroke has a massive advantage over a 2 stroke anytime you are on a loose surface. Put a set of Haulers on the 2 bikes mentioned, throw them in the sand, and watch the banshee eat the raptor's lunch all day long.

You want that plug to be a light brown. Run it too lean for a while and you will really beat those Banshee's with the new 727 rebuild you'll be putting in. That motor is strong now, but too lean for a long time and kiss that motor good-bye.Text

So all you have done is Piped the raptor, and rejetted? Now your beating up on banshee's? First off I'd tell the banshee owner to check the compression, then give the bike a good once over for carb work, reeds, jetting, and maybe jump to a hotter plug. Also, repack the silencers. That would be just the minimal I'd do if i got beat by a raptor with just a pipe and airbox lid. Nothing against your raptor man, my room mate has one pretty much just like yours, and my banshee smokes his on any surface, and his raptor is one of the fastest I've seen. Then again maybe you got one of those bikes that just runs better than the rest. Not meaning that sarcastic.
