I just got my first Quad and it's a 2004 Raptor. Anyone know how to disable the reverse cutout? Anytime I get the tires spinning in reverse the engine dies. I heard this is normal for some kind of safety reason. If I wanted safety, I wouldn't have bought a Raptor! Any help would be cool... Thanks

 

Your perfectly safe on a raptor. If you wanted danger, you should have got a YFZ450. Just kidding! Have you rode before you bought the Raptor? How long?

That's just your rev limiter kicking in, just follow maddog56's link, easy solution. On the newer models, they dumped the reverse rev limiter.
