With the right mods, how high can you get the YFZ450's top speed to go? I heard that on a dirtbike, if you just change the sprockets, you can get it to go over 100mph easily! But for a quad, YFZ450, what would it be?

They did a the in dirt wheel a while back. They tried a bunch of different sprocket combo's and as fast as the could go stock was about 87MPH

Honestly, why do you care? Gearing for top speed is going to kill acceleration. If you are going to run an oval track or do some dry lake bed runs, then that gearing might be OK. Trail riding, MX, or XC with top speed gearing will not be as fun, nor as quick.

LOL....common rookie misconception. You can gear the quad to the moon, but if the quad does not have enough power to PULL the additional gearing you will go no faster...maybe slower .
