Still considering a new quad but debating on what i want but anyway, I found a still new 05 660 at a dealer they want $5000 havent looked at many 660's so not sure how that is price wise thx

 

In August of 04, I paid 5399 for my 04 Raptor. With the redesigned Raptors out, you would think that the demand may drop if you wait a little while. Then again, if you wait someone else may grab it. Have you considered spending the extra 1700 for an 06?

I totally agree. I want an 06 pretty bad but, just can't justify spending the $$$. I don't think I will be able to hold off much longer though.

 

Thats a good price. Nothing wrong with getting an 05 Raptor. Its still a fine machine and can be very fast with some bolt on mods. The 06 is better but I had to pay another $1500 for mine. If money is an issue, I'd go for it. I haven't modded my 700 yet (mods are on the way though) but I'm guessing they'll probably be pretty equal with the same mods.

The 06 seems to be having some issues with overheating or at least the indication that it may be overheating. You may be better off buying the 05 and avoiding the headachs of a first year run problems.
