Default Another trouble shooting question

Finally got all the fluids in, tried to kick it over and nothing. sprayed starter fluid in the carbs and it starts (have exhaust from both sides) then shuts off. tried again and right side stops firing. (no exhaust) and i cant give more gas, boggs down. i open the carbs and bowls are clean and have gas. i found the tube that goes from one carb to another disconnected, but i might have done it. any suggestions?? bike has been sitting for almost 2 years, spark plugs are next and just flushed the tank

The tube that runs between the carbs is the choke tube.
If you put the choke tube back on and it doesn't run,it is probably the pilot jets plugged.......

Not much, trying to get back to normal after Rita. How did you weather the storm? That is alot of time and money you sank into the shee just to turn around and sell it.We need to hook up and ride before it gets to cold.

Ok im down to almost getting the damn thing to work right... i have too much fuel going to the carbs. it starts and idels but when i give it gas it boggs down like there is too much gas and wants to shut off. what size of jets do i need if it has t5's and a cool head. not sure what dome. or is there a way i could restrict the gas thats going to the carb without changing jets?

If it's been sitting for 2 years just buy a carb kit(s) and rebuild it.
