My 01 raptor will sit and idle just fine but when you go to take off it'll sputter until you give it alot more gas, it'll do this at low speeds in every gear. Any ideas??? I cleaned the carbs and cleaned the K&N and put new spark plugs in her. Any ideas would help.

 

Come on I know someone has had problems like this with their raptors????

 

The pilot jets would be the first place I'd look. I would also adjust the valves if you haven't done that in a while.

 

Thanks, do you know what the valve gap is? I'll give it a shot once I get my new L&A one-way and can start my bike.

I had to rejet, I had them same problem.

I also had to adjust valves when I had a hard time starting.
