Remember the Banshee my friend Nate had that inveseted over $4,000 in? When we tested it out last time, nobody could touch the quad. Using a radar gun, he got it up to 96 miles per hours! Well, a recent buddy of mine owns a 2005 YFZ450 with over $4,000 invested in challenged Nate to a drag race. I was cheering for the YFZ450, but knowing in my heart that there was NO chance for the agile YFZ450. It was 300ft long on a 1 1/2 mile stretch gravel road, since the county road that we use to use has some thin layers of ice on (they didn't want to take the chance to risk their lives going 75+!). During the race, the YFZ450 pulled out of the line hard, and even taking it for a long while. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I really thought that the slick YFZ450 was going to win. I had a smile on my face until I saw the Banshee just rip by the YFZ450 like the hare during the race against the turtle! I knew that the Banshee won, but I thought to myself that I could say, "Hey! At least the YFZ450 took you off the line, sucker!" Only to find out that Nate was just messing with the 18 year old YFZ450 owner. They raced again and again, this time with the Banshee only in second off the line because of large amount of HP at the wheels. The Banshee's tires spun like crazy on the gravel road, which was something I didn't see in the first race. I got to had it to the Banshee. WOW! That was the first time I have ever seen a YFZ450 in action, live, in front of me. But still, I would like to see a Banshee beat a YFZ450 in the track. Now I know why they call it the Screamer. I was wondering which would win in a drag race, 300ft, a highly modded Banshee, like Nate's or enFORCER'S, or a highly modified RM 250 dirtbike?

 

dirtbike less weight higher power to weight ratio and so ur first times gonna be with a yfz huh? gonna tap that exhaust? dont forget lube and hold on yfzs are beasts off the line
