I know how you feel.I bought a 99 banshee and it was stolen 3 weeks later.I bought it new for $5300 and another $2000 in goodies added to it.It had maybe a half a tank of gas run through,not even broken in yet.It was found 4 months later striped down and put on another frame.my frame was destroyed all that was left was the motor and some of the goodies.but because the parts on the bike belonged to two different people a judge had to decide what to do.I ended up with everything but what I got back was junk.the sorry thing is that no one was punished because we cound'nt prove who had stolen the bike.the guy who striped the bike got off because it was stolen in KY. and recovered in TN.and TN. did'nt want to bother with it because it was stolen in KY.so I was screwed all the way around.I hope yours turns out better than mine. sorry so long.later.P.S. I ened up knowing the guy that accused of stealing it.so dont rule out your buddies.hope i'm wrong & good luck.

 

I'd bet my money the thief is a neighbor, somebody at the Yamaha dealer, or worse yet a friend. I'd be checking all the local race tracks. Hope you find it.

 

It might even be him!!!! The insurance money would buy some killer mods!! heeeee haaa...........
