Which do you think would win in a race? a yfz 450 race quad or a YZ 450F dirtbike?

I would say the YZ450F as well. They are probably the same motor. Same motor in lighter chassis == faster.

 

Common sense. Almost exactly the same motor with a lighter chassis. Duh! The YZ450F is going to kill it. The only reason I don't like dirtbikes is because it is hard for me in trails and winter riding. Other than that, it is super fast!

so stock for stock the Yfz 450 would beat the stock yz 250 f?

 

I don't know. You need a person on here named maddog to help you (he's a professional). My "guess" would be that the YFZ450 would take it top speed because of it's bigger displacement, and that the YZ250F would take it off the line and most of the way.

 

It's not fun at all to compare dirtbikes with quads because most of the time the dirtbikers' would have the last laugh. It's not fair. But since they beat quads, lets compare them to croach rockets, where the croach rocketers' usually get the last laugh [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]. See what I mean? It's not fair from my point of view. Wait! It would be fair racing in the snow! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
