Hi There

I like the look of the new Yamaha Blaster. And maybe considering of getting one in the future. I was wondering does any know if you can put an electric start on one, and if so what would a kit cost. I would like to know.

Thank You

Miles

Why would you want a starter for ??? It's only 200cc.......It shouldn't be that hard to kickstart. If you guys were talking about a 'ZILLA then I would understand but come on... ...just my 2cents

Plus....wouldn't you need to get a battery ??? Where would you put it....the stator would not produce enough electricity to charge it....it would end up costing you more than a warrior(which has a starter)

Eletric start is nice.. sometimes... sometimes not so nice... take for instance all those proud owners of a new 400ex... hope your battery dont die :-) Personally Id stick with the kick start, yes it involves a little work, but when your buddie is stuck in the mud on his 2001 400ex that does not have a kick starter you'll be loving life.

They are right, you would do better to kick your leg off to fire up a Blaster sporting A new Pipe and Reeds than to blow the money trying to rig up something that has never meant to be.
