i have only seen a streight line drag between them also a trak race, it is prity even between the 2! untill the raptor hits 3rd gear then it realy start to pull away! it depends how long the drags that you doing are! but the less weight of the 450cc mean that it is better round the track and quickerof the line untill the raptor has the chance to use the extra power in 3rd!

 

Right on. Thats the kind of stuff I'm wanting to know. How does this new raptor ride? I've ridden the 660's and they all felt really tall and tippy to me. And dispite what everybody says about them being really comfortable, I didn't really think that they were that much different than the yfz. Truthfully, the only sport bike that I've been on that I thought was really comfortable, was the trx 450! (I still would gladly give up that little bit of comfort however for the many benefits of my 450!) anyway, I know thatthe rappy got a re-designed suspension, and I believe that it's a little lower than inyears past, but what are your guys's actual comparisons? Also, I've been hearin some rumers of both 06 rappy and 450 having quite a few problems... Anybody?

 

well the 700 in ok but it is still abit tall, it does need to me wide boied then it is fine! but it is so combrotable compared to a 450but it is still to heavy after a few laps but the 3rd gear accleration on road as i use it hear is great u can sit beind a car and 40mph and thumb the throatal and it the pick up is awasome, the font will lift wich real scare the s#/t out of the car driver.

as far a as quarter miles drag in concerded the a stock raptor will at the end have the 450r if ur going to be doing shorter then the 450 is the best.

the improvemets are worth the money as far as i am concerned!! and i have driven a lot of bike stock and tuned and i use a 700cc for comuting!
i have had mine since the 1st of sempeber which was when they were reseased in engalnd at it is fine and i have done over 2000 miles on road and track with no problems with relabity! it has had one service, and new oil and i have fitted a k&n!

havng sold my 450 to get a 700 i am gland that i did as my mates that have a 450 after riding mine are all looking to buy one! so i hope that that helps
