Hey i have been wondering is a full system alot better than the slip ons for the 700 because i am thinking about buying a slip on my the winter then this summer purchasing a full system or should i just save an get the full system and not worry bout the slip on? Thanks Mace

 

You wont notice ALOT of difference between the full system and the slip-on. It is usually a 2-4 hp gain. I would rather just get a slip-on and use the extra for something that will give me a few more ponies.

Oh yeah. I heard if ya go up a little in the compression it really brings those things to life.

 

If money is an issue, get a slip on. If performance is a priority get the full system. With the correct header, you will gain a noticeable amount of torque.

Slip on or full exhaust, you still will need to shell out the $$$ for a programmer, or you will fry the motor from running lean. The stock EFI does NOT compensate for mods, only temp, altitude and humidity.

 

Over time u will like the complete system espeacialy if u do alittle motor work later on[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. I've seen a few 700r's running around with the HMF and CT pipes.

 

I will be buying a Doebeck TFI box also whenever i buy the Pipe. My parents are wanting me to just wait till spring and get a full system so i decided i would get the Trinity Stage 4 Intake System and the Doebeck TFI this winter. Will that make much difference without getting a pipe.

 

More air accompanied by more fuel equals more power. The stock muffler is very restrictive.

If your lookin to save money till spring, you can pull the baffle out of the stock muffler for more flow. Unless you want the KN filter that comes with the Trinity intake, you can save money by getting the Pro Design intake with a foam filter for $100. That will free up money for your programmer. Next spring, get the full system of your choice, and reprogram it.
