if you want to stay with the narrow blaster axle any year will work; but I would go for a banshee axle cause it will widen the back end that's if you want to go with used. New: try the G force from rockymountianatv.com for about $200. Of course there are better for more $

From what I understand, the brake hub is different on the older (02 and down) models. BUT, an axle from about any Banshee, Warrior, Raptor, or 03 and newer Blaster will fit the newer style rear brakes. All are different widths and could be used to widen the rear fairly cheaply.

Raptor wont work, differnet setup as far as brake hub setup. Trust me I have an 03 raptor and a 98 blaster. I have a durablue on the blaster and it can be used for banshee, raptor or blaster. So i looked at swapping the raptors axle to the blaster but the setup is different. Banshee is the way to go if your buying used and cheap.

Not trying to be a smart a..., but re-read my reply again about the brake hubs!! In 2003 the rear brakes were changed. For the pre 03' Blasters, you have to change the rear brakes to either the new style or use the brakes from a Banshee, Warrior, Raptor to make the axle work. The new style, (03' and newer) Blasters will work with all of these axles.
