Good post armety[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] They have proved the speed sensor theory on the dyno.
When you switch the read out from HP to MPH she quits at 75 MPH That's why you see the thing signing off at 6800 RPM[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]


Design something to fool or bypass the sensor and you will unlock a ton more of potential on the 700R[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
I'm sure someone soon will get that figured out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

So r u saying that the Raptor 700 wont go over 75MPH.

That's what I'm saying. With stock gearing give or take 2 to 3 mph that's the limit. By changin gearing you can fool the sensor but that will only gain you so much. BTW the speed sensor monitors the countershaft.

Again this was proven on the Dyno

Sure enough on the dyno (if I switch to MPH) it cuts out at 75 mph.
This was quoted from a very knowlegable rider/tuner on another forum.

Is there anything you can do about the sensor? is it just basically a rev limitter or does it just apply in 5th gear onced it hits 75mph
