i installed a fmf pipe ,k&n clamp on ,new cdi box now when i hit the throttle from a stop it bogs & dies ive bee n told to ease on the throttle which is crap for what i spent ive also been told to adjust the pilot jet & or needle jet im at an 85 jet now from a 76.3 stock what do i do

 

Try adjusting the air screw. It's on the left side of the carb next to the idle screw. It will have a rubber plug in it.

 

thanks 631 for your reply i tried that & got real close to where i wanted to be then i ran out ofadjustment.then i raised the needle 1 slot (the last one)then adjusted the air screw out until it started then tweaked it from there inow have only an occasional sputter on take off i am almost there thanks for your help much appreciated this is my girls xmas gift

 

What year is your raptor 80? Mine is an 06 and the needle only has one setting. Very strange.
