Anyone ever seen a broken Raptor valve?

Yes I have seen a broken valve and the associated damage looked like your pic. I have a question for you as to wether the valve that broke was a stock valve or an aftermarket valve. If it was a after market valve what brand was it?

Judging from his sig I'd say stock.

Glad I sprung for the new valves, sorry to hear about the troubles. Seems like you just got that thing running right not too long ago.

Yes stock valves. I love rebuilding these things. Each time it breaks it goes back towards stock. This was a ported head but it'll be a stock head that goes back in. The piston and cylinder had already been replaced back to stock size from 12:1 and 102mm. The duel rate springs are ok but will not go back in, the same for the stage 2 cam. When the pipe falls apart I'll put the stocker back on. . Of course before all this happens I'll split the cases and clean out the debris.
