Grizzly Steering stem
#1
Took the Grizz out for a long ride yesterday and started to notice a little play in the top bushing on the steering stem. I only have aroud 900 miles on the quad and it does'nt seem right that this bushing would go bad so soon. Does anyone know if it can be tightened up of if it should be replaced?
Thanks

On my Kodiaks and our guys with Grizzs they seem to have alot of slop.I replaced mine just because I did not like it.It's a two piece plastic bushing with two o-rings to keep the grease in.
On the Kodiak it was kind of a pain.I am surprised it has not started squeaking yet.

It did squeak a little bit but it only did it for a short time. Did your Kodiak move side to side or front to back. This only seems loose side to side. I will take it apart soon and check it out.

Side to side and frt to back.Try and not pressure wash that area if you do.That can blow the grease out of it.If you are taking it apart I would go ahead and get the new bushings. They are just plastic and there is no tightening them. They are pretty cheap.
