I ride in rough and heavily rutted terain. I was tinking about switching from 21" fronts to either 22 or 23" fronts to help get me over the rough stuff more smoothly. Has anyone run this setup, and what are your opinions.

 

i run 22" s on the front with 20"s in the rear, but it really depends on what you run on the rear.you dont want the rear tire to be to big as this will cause the front tobe a little more heavy.mine seems to do fine in the same type of conditions you described,hope this helps.

 

i run 22"/23" holeshots XTC for mountain trails,,,,,,and i like the added inch of clearance,,,,,it feels like 2 inches

highly recommended,,,,,your skidplate will last longer too
