Banshee timing key

Default Banshee timing key

Does anybody know what the timing key does for the banshee?? and what the difference is between teh 4 and 7 degree key??

Default Banshee timing key

It gives you more bottom end and mid power. You can modify your stock timing plate to give you a 4 degree advance {just slot the mounting holes with a grinder}, or ricky stator sells an adjustable plate for $40. The key can sometimes sheer, better to stay away from them. 7 degrees timing advance is for serious high hp shee drag motors. Looking at your mods, a timing advance would give you 2 or 3 more hp. Do your self a favor and go to bansheehq.com for all the info you could ever want to know about the shee. Use the search engine, and you will get hundreds of SOLID opinions, on any topic you could think of. Plus there,you don't have to put up with kids who think there modded warrior can smoke a shee.
