I am thinking about buying new exhaust because I know that my current exhaust is restricting me some. I am thinking about getting a powerbomb header and a titanium 4 muffler. Would this quiet my quad down at all and would I get much of a gain. Right now my bike is way too loud and to me if this would quiet it down some I think it would be worth it to me. And how much would I need to change my jetting very much because right now my stock carbs are almost pushed to their limit.

 

If you want a quieter ride, by all means avoid the Titanium 4. It is one of the loudest pipes out there. The Powerbomb really doesn't do anything to help noise, either. I rode a stock Raptor that had a GYT-R slip-on, and it was quite enjoyable. It had a good bark, but my ears didn't hurt after a ride. I hate overly loud exhausts, and the GYT-R was nice.

 

I got a powerbomb from one of the members here and it did quiet down my exhaust, didnt do anything performance wise. My raptor is LOUD, and I mean LOUD....I might have to start using the spark arrestor now because its too much noise. Im running 175/180 and might be a tad lean so I will have to rejet, not sure if its due to the header. If you can get one cheap, buy it. how come the powerbomb quiets down? the headers are not bigger?it doesnt make sence
