How do I check if the stem is bent or if the tie rods are bent? Do I just have to get new ones and see what fixes the problem or is there a way to tell which is the problem part?

I doubt if your tie rods are bent, if they are, it should be pretty noticable just by inspecting them.

As for the stem, it may not be so noticable, just depends on how bad it got bent. You'll probably have to take it off to check to see if that is bent or not.

 

Alright, when I was putting all the stuff on the new bars one of the screws broke off in the clamp that holds the clutch on and it won't come out. Does anyone know how to get the screw out of this, it is just a little nub sticking out and pliers won't grip it. Is the stem easy to put on or will it be too complicated for me to do?
