Raptor 350 vs. Z400 vs. 400EX vs. KFX 400
I raced a brand new stock 350 rapty with my blaster. The rapty was barely faster. I know that a 400 suzuki is way faster. They are more comparable to predators and 450 yfzs. The rapty is very comparable to 300 ex's and blasters. They are very good trail bikes though. I would say that they are good all around beginner bikes.
The only thing you can really compare the Warrior/Rappy with is a 400ex And stock the 400ex will pull away from the rappy....
But unless you really just want to blow your money.. dont do the same thing i done with my warrior.. I have go it were it will run with a stock rappy 660.. Yeah its fun.. But now im Fixing to start building a YFZ 450 for the flattrack and i wish i had the money i put in my warrior back so i can put it in the YFZ....So if your going for power i would put my money in something besides a warrior/rappy unless you really love the warrior/rappy then do what i did..

the raptor 350 is in a class by itsself kinda... its to big for the 250s and 300ex, but a lil underpowered when it comes to 400s and bigger... i beat one that was piped, it was in the sand if that matters. i like the 350s tho..... my friend had a z and he liked it except that he said he had trouble keepin the front end down on hill climbs. he said its a grade jumpper and wheeeler and all around bike.

My first bike was the z400. I love it. Great all around bike. It handles good, good power, and feels great when jumping it. The only problem I have heard of with the z400's is that the 03-04 z's had problems with the frame cracking above the shock mounts and the 05-06 z's having corrosion problems with the magnesium valve cover and clutch cover ( if you get a 03-04 z, get the frame gusseted to prevent the frame from cracking and if you get an 05-06 z, I heard that getting aluminum covers might solve the corrosion problem ). My buddy has a raptor 350. It a nice reliable bike but its feels underpowered. Also the reverse lever on the 350 is in a weird place( may not be a big deal but it bothered me when I rode it and I had to put it in reverse). We've race many times and the z out runs him all the time. My other buddy had a 660 and he would pull away from me in a race everytime. The only thing I didn't like about the raptor 660 was that it was so top heavy that I d had to lean into the turn more so it wouldn't roll over. The z400, raptor 350, and the 660 are great trail bikes.
Go with the z400 or the 660. You wont be disappointed.
