yamaha/kawi vs. honda
#1
A buddy of mine was over last night and we did some riding on the quads, I have a 2006 grizzly and a 2004 kawi prairie 700 this was his first time driving a atv, he loved it, anyway he had dinner with his wifes friend and her husband a couple of nights ago and the husband is a honda rider and was telling him that "honda is the only atv, and nothing else compares" I owned a 97 400 foreman and it was a good atv but I would have to say the oppsite it was reliable, but not anywhere near as fun to ride. What do you guys think? Is honda better?

I think that he is entitled to his' opinion. No matter how wrong he is.LOL!
Although I'm more a banshee fan myself,I do like alot of different quads. My dad has a 660 Grizzly. It is great. My friend has a Brute Force.I do prefer the Grizzly, but that brute force sure will wheelie for such a heavy machine.Plenty of power. The Grizzly is awesome in the fact that it too has alot of power and rides like a dream.Sure, honda makes some good quads.I do like the 450R.Not crazy with how they look, but they do run good.
Some guys take their bikes too serious.I like to tease people, but I think having any quad is a good thing.Just get out and enjoy them.

Honda still has the most reliable utes, but they're short on power and rough on suspension. In retrospect I'd rather have a slow and bumpy honda that I can rely on anytime than replacing hundreds of dollars of parts on a kawi just to get it running when we still owe thousands on it.

Honda...Just like there cars... The most reliable out there. In fact I own one and love it compared to any of the american cars I owned in the fact I don't do anything much more than change oil and regular maintance where my american cars always had something going wrong. But its not the most exciting car out there by any means. But I drive alot of miles so I needed reliable more than exciting.
