Denton still sells the extended j arms. I think they are chrome. Not sure on that tho. As for cheap motor upgrades. Get a proflow {foam not k+n}, and **** can the air box lid. Get an assortment of main jets {280 to 340}. Go with #30 pilots. Have the stock head shaved {.030 or .035} or get a noss machine head, modify your stock timing plate for a 4 degree timing advance, or buy one from rickystator.com , buy some good reeds, and port your stock reed cages, or spend some bucks on v-force cages+reeds. Having your cylinders ported isn't cheap, but is where you get the serious power.

Toomey t-5, pro curcit, dmc, fmf, are all good choices for what you want. Personally, I would go with toomey t-5 or pro curcit. Stay away from the t-6, they don't like porting like the t-5 does. Say $500 for pipes and jets. $100 for a pro design billet adaptor and foam air filter. You can get your stock head machined for $40, at a local machine shop, or buy a noss machine head and domes for $275. You can modify you stock timming plate for free, or buy the rickystator.com piece for $40. You can port your stock reed cages for free, or buy v-force cages for $300. Don't waste your money on a boost bottle. It does nothing. As for porting, $250 to $500 depending on who does it, and what you are looking for. You want your porting to match or complement your pipes. Eric Gorr does great work. Try bansheehq.com for pics, and step by step directions on porting your stock reed cages, and modifing your timming plate. The banshee is very receptive to mods. Every mod listed above {by themselves} will give you noticable boosts in performance. If you do all these mods, you will have arm ripping hp. A set of double rate elka's {$450} or works double rates {$325} will do wonders for the front of your shee. Good luck.
