For like $800 or so you could really mod your 80, bore, ignition, carb, etc. You should be pleased with the results, plus less weight. My kid loves his. i think front suspension sucks, so I will only invest so much in it. I have thought about converting it to a-arms, but thats alot of work for something he'll outgrow soon. just my opionion.

The old Yamaha Champs were 100cc and a 4 speed. It is the same engine as the 80. In fact, you cab buy the jug from Yamaha and put it on the 80 motor to do a cheap big bore. The 4th gear was taken out of the Badgers and Raptor 80's to limit the top speed. I have heard that you can modify the Raptors tranny and make it fit, making it a 4 speed. I don't know what would be involved and it might not be cost effective. There are alot of off brand machines out there now that use the Raptor 80 style parts. Maybe one of those would work to get the 110cc your talking about. Good Luck !!

thanx for all the replies i really appreciate the help . my daughter wants to race at the local track and I found out in her class the 4-strokes can go up to 125cc & 2-strokes 90cc but have to have the original case . I already piped , jetted , cdi box , clamp on filter . the quad runs real good I just want her to have the power to keep up with the rest . so I guess a big bore kit is the way to go . again thanks

Hey 1111 it is the unlimited cdi . I have read about cutting the slide on the 50's but not the 80's . I have no idea how to do that . have you done this and if so any help would be appreciated . I've also read about a clutch kit to help with the holeshot have you heard this one if so is it worth it? thanks again for the input .

unlimited thats cool i'll have to wait i got the pro com that tops out at a point and in terms of cutting the slide i think is the same carb for the 50 and 80 so cutting the slide is easy hit me up if you want to do that it really helps and the clutch kit if they got one go for it i took 8 out of the 12 clutch ***** in the roller to lighten up the clutch and make it engage at higher rpms give it that edge off the line .
