i have an 87 moto4 champ, and its always been hard to start. a couple years back i rebuilt the engine with a new piston, valves, cam chain, gaskets and seals. at first it would start, but not that easy, now its just a real pain. the carb jetting is stock. 150 psi of compresion. it just keeps flooding. it has spark but its not great. i really don't use it much, just every once in awhile i take it for a ride. do any of these early yfm's have a weak stator or coil that i should change? give me some i dea's.

 

my friend had one of those and he had the same problem and it was the stator...he replaced and started first pull
