Default Need Help..............

Can anyone tell what may be my problem... Two Days ago i was cleaning my Driveway when I heard a snap sound. When I proceeded to place my 400 kodiak into reverse it was only pulling with the rear tires, as if it was in two wheel drive. What could my problem be. Front differential or drive shaft would be my first guess. I assume you have taken it out of 4 wheel drive, backed up and tried re-engaging the 4 wheel drive. Do you have the same problem in low range? What happens if you try to engage the Dif Lock. If you snapped a front axle or CV joint you will get the 2 wheel drive effect because the power goes to the axle with least resistance when the differential is not locked. If it is a CV joint or front axle and you lock the diff. you should get power to the good side.

My bike is 4 wheel drive all the time, also on this year model it doesn't have diff. lock. Low or high range is the same, my rear tires are the only one to spin.
