Default $400 for a slipon? WTF?!

I was just looking at toomey's slipon for the YFZ450. Its a ripoff. Maybe the price justifies that "toomey sound" lol!

I dont care how much r&d or production costs but 400 is overkill!!!

I guess im really tired of the atv market in general. Its rediculous for the prices on parts. I think some of it has to do with the american public thinking "the more expensive the better" which is a load of crap. So the aftermarket companies purposely raise the price to steer the market.

I remember in the mid to late 90's you could by a complete header/silencer combo for around 150. Same materials and labor of today.

You think ATVs are bad? Dirt bikes are no better. The new Yoshimura dual setup for a CRF250R cost $1200.00. Don't think I'll ever be buying one of those.

Im kinda sick of the ridiculous prices myself. I will never build another quad like I built my 250R....big mistake=$$$$. Im selling it, so once it goes, Im done with quads for a little while. Maybe I'll get a new Zuki 450 once they get passed the first model year run.

Alot of riders have saved big bucks and have gotten more power out of some end caps, might be a good option to look into. IMO.

Ive seen the end caps, always wondered if they really did anything for your power or not. Anyone here have one on their machine?
