what size sprokets come stock on the warrior? With more teeth what does that acomplish? These may be dumb questions but that's ok.

13 tooth stock..12 gives you faster take off more up hill torque...14-15..more speed on flat..hard on tranny and engine

38 tooth rear stock. More teeth on the rear adds low end power/takes away from top end. Less teeth on the rear adds top end/takes away from low end.

I might be wrong but I thought the manual said 13/40 was stock. Anyway I run 15/45 on mine. Was 12/45 when I got it to compensate for huge tires on the back. I went to a 15 on the front wich brings it close to the stock ratio with my 21 inch tires on it now. The chain is still long enough.

Would a 18tooth in front and a 44 tooth in back work for a 99 worrior? I want speed but also torque. My quad is fully upgraded so I shoud go with the more tooth sprockets right (the ones I have on there are stock)?

Mine is impesssively reliable for a 21 year old quad. I upgraded the suspension and ride the heck out of it and it holds up fine. I changed my gears since my last post to 14/40 with 20" tires. Figuring in the tire size it put my overall ratio close to stock. It gives the best performance Ive got yet overall, it will go 60.8 down the road and I can get the front up in 2nd without using the clutch. I weigh about 250 with my gear and all. My mods are listed in my sig. If I was 50lbs smaller which I may be after I am back working for a while Id try a tooth bigger on the front.
