Default Is it worth it

I have a warrior and i love it because it is powerful and perfect for trails especially with my aftermarket parts, i was wondering if it would be worth to get a carb or a bore kit or something or should i think about a raptor or something. I was also wondering if it is worth it what do i get for the warrior to make it more capable of keeping up with a banshee, 400ex, and others in trails. It is pretty good now but i want better without ripping a whole in my pocket.

if u get a hotcam u shuld be able to beat a stock 400 ex. banshee is a lot faster though, then you would have to bore and port and polish.

Its pointless to do a cam without a piston. Especially a hotcam, from what I hear they're not that good. If you did a piston/cam combo i'd go with the JE 10.75 to 1 compression along with a Web .430 camshaft. That'll give you enough power to stomp most 400ex's. Don't forget an oil cooler set up though, because these motor mods will produce to much heat for the air cooled engine to handle by itself.

If you're looking for a carb the edlebrock is awesome. I got mine for $370 shipped on ebay, and it was worth every penny. It has a good power gain, completely eliminates the bog/hesitation warriors have when you hit the throttle hard, and was much much easier to get jetted right than the pos stock carb.

Well Said...

But i would go with the JE..12:1... With my set up i have the JE 12:1 With Cam and you can do the oil cooler set up... But i went with a Rappy fan set up....And i have not had any Probs with overheating....
