Withbut the electoral college there will never be true choice, third parties will be less likely to get votes if we move to an entire popular vote for the US.

example-
I know if my favored canidate is going to win by a large margin I will be more likely to vote for a 3rd party and get them federal funding, they need %5 of the popular vote for the US combined.

Warrior, I make NO excuses on not casting a vote. I made a choice not to vote. And last time I checked in this country we still have the Freedom of Speech (and can express our opinions). Our constitution does not say "You have the right of Freedom of Speech ONLY if you cast a vote in the last election".

Directed to readers in general. Electoral College: After doing some demographic research today I have to say I must change my position on this issue. It is not an antiquated system as I previously stated. And I believe we should keep this system in place.

I just love how people in this forum rewrite our Constitution. "Article XV.
Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude."

I also just love how some of you in this forum can't come up with a decent response, therefore find the need to use highly intellectual words such as "blah, blah, blah". But then again I must realize that some peoples higher expectations are to become the head cook at McDonald's

Highly intellectual words such as "blah, blah, blah". Kind of like Mute and Moot. You use the wrong word in the wrong context, not once, but TWICE. And then you say you intended to write it that way. Oops, I made a mistake. How can I cover this up? I know, I'll just say I intended to type mute.

Let's see another mistake you made. Trying to prove your point you said that there is 270 million voting aged Americans. When in actuality the total population is 276 million Americans, not all of which are of voting age. Only 100 million voted.

Article XV. Section 1.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude."

You preach the constitution but have no idea what it means. You and only you denied this right from yourself by not voting. No one is rewriting anything.

Judging from your attitude and your posts, I'll just say keep flipping. Oh, and keep the cheese side up.

Hiofcer,
Your just like a pesky fly that won't go away. Just buzz buzz buzz annoying the crap out of people. Looks like I will have to drop down to your level so you can understand my words.

MOOT vs. MUTE.....this makes three times you are trying to get me to reverse what I had typed. Are you that dense? I spelled it out for you, letter by letter. Do I need draw a little arrow for you?

"...if someone doesn't exercise their right to vote as an American citizen should lose that right". Looks to me as if you would like to rewrite the constitution.

"I will call anyone that did not vote stupid".

"Get your facts straight. The total population of the US is 276 million". I was kind enough the first time to let your mistake slide. But since you insist on bringing this up again why don't you learn how to read what's written in a post before you insist on showing your ignorance.

If it weren't for the fact that sometimes guns end up in the hands of people that don't know which end the bullet comes out (such as yourself) we wouldn't need to worry about our government constantly trying to impose stiffer gun control upon the rest of us.

If you want to continue to play your little games of calling people stupid, trying to correct others when you yourself are wrong and want to resort to personal attacks instead of addressing the issues at hand. All I can say is BRING IT ON. I'll stoop to your level and play the game your way.

"Just buzz buzz buzz annoying the crap out of people."
[red] Highly intellectual words. Have you made it to cashier yet? [/red]

MOOT vs. MUTE
[Red] still trying to cover up your mistakes I see.[/red]

"...if someone doesn't exercise their right to vote as an American citizen should lose that right". Looks to me as if you would like to rewrite the constitution.

[red]Yes, I said that and I'm not denying it. If you don't vote, what do you care if you lose it? It's hardly rewriting the constitution. [/red]

"I will call anyone that did not vote stupid".

[red]You got it. You are STUPID!!! [/red]

"Get your facts straight. The total population of the US is 276 million". I was kind enough the first time to let your mistake slide. But since you insist on bringing this again why don't you learn how to read what's written in a post before you insist on showing your ignorance.

[red]Let's see you edited your post to prove yourself right. Incase your wondering I have the e-mail to prove it. What other childish games do you play? [/red]

"If it weren't for the fact that sometimes guns end up in the hands of people that don't know which end the bullet comes out (such as yourself) we wouldn't need to worry about our government constantly trying to impose stiffer gun control upon the rest of us."

[red]I am a responsible sportsman I voted. [/red]

[red]Ouch… Keep flipping. [/red]
