Hey everyone, I just purchased the HMF Sport Series for my Raptor 700 and i was wondering how loud will this thing be? Thanks Mace

Its going to be pretty loud.

 

HMF makes a really good pipe... however it is kinda loud.. if you want get the quiet core insert..

 

thanks for the replies. I was also wondering how it will compare to other pipes like yosh,trinity, and ct. I just bought the slip on for now but i will be ordering the hmf head pipe to go with it here pretty soon... Thanks Mace

 

all yeah how long did it take everyone to get there pipes? I was going to buy from sweet quads because it was cheaper but then i noticed it would take 10-14 business days and i was like WOOOAA. So i ordered it from HMF Engineering and put 2nd Day Air on it but they said the pipes are made to order so how long do you think it will take? Mace

 

I ordered mine from HMF also and it took less than a full week to get it. The only piped 700 I've been next to was a GYTR and I was noticeably louder.

 

is it a nice sound in your opinion? Or is just a LOUD not so good sound. Sound isn't a problem for me i just like power and looks.. Mace

 

HMF sounds good on anything, IMO. When I let my buddy ride it, he was thinking to himself that it was pretty quiet (compared to his HMF Predator) until he gave it more gas then..............BRAPPPP!!!!!! It definitely lets everyone know your coming........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
They sound really good on the Predators too!

Do you know your Db level? Do you have the quiet core? I'm looking to purchase this same exhaust w/ quiet core but I need to be at 98-99Db.
