Default cool head or power head

have a few questions about a cool head or power head would do for my bike. My bike is stock except for fmf pipe and jetting...1988LT500

Are they worth the money?
Do they make the bike run cooler?
Do they give you more power?
If you have one which one and would you buy it again?
Are they better then the stock head?

Thanks Lottery...

P.S. I posted this on the suzuki forum and have no awnsers... My daughter has a blaster so maybe the yamaha people can Help?

It almost seems like the names "Cool head" and "Power head" are interchangeable. I did some research and both offer better cooling and changeable domes. I do not know anything about LT500s but I know cool heads are high up on the list for banshee mods. The power you get would change based on the domes you buy with it. They offer stock or high compression domes. Some also come with reusable O-rings that replace the head gasket. This allows you to change out domes without the need for a new head gasket each time. I hope this helps a little.

This is true to a certain extent. You can reuse them about 4 or 5 times if your very careful with them. Nice mod, makes changing compression very easy....
