raptor 700 problem

Default raptor 700 problem

has anybody noticed the skidplate on the swingarm digging into the ground when you roll backwords down a soft hill? i flipped my brand new raptor 700 twice today and broke my right side light off. i have never had this problem
with my z400. also how much is a right side light? thnks

Default raptor 700 problem

I noticed the same thing in deep mud and rutts when you put it in reverse it diggs in and makes your wheels spin. I think they should have designed a bit of a kick on it so that it doesnt cut into the ground in reverse.
My solution was to replace it with a real bash plate. I have not had the same issues with the GYT-R one. Mind you I did loose about 1/2 to one inch of ground clerance with the new bash plate [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
