Wrecked Raptor

ASK AROUND and let everybody know you're in the market for a quad. Also, check your newspaper, auto trader, dealerships and anywhere else there might be quads for sale. I got my raptor for $1300 this way. Just remember to have everybody know what you're looking for and make sure they ask around too. Talk about it, bring it up in conversations and if you do find a deal, Offer a trade, more people will be willing to trade than you'd think. You're not going to find an exceptionally nice quad for extremely cheap so plan on doing some clean-up and parts hunting. I can help you out if you need raptor parts. Don't be scared away by a noisy top end or a blown 3rd gear. Problems can be fixed and thats half the fun of having a quad. Boken parts are a great excuse to order aftermarket parts. Heres some examples: flat tire= time to get a new set of aftermarket rims and tires. Burning oil= big bore kit and a cam will fix your problem and give you more power without making you go broke. Bent handle bars= aftermarket bars and grips.

BTW, it's a wrecked Raptor I'm talking about, I didn't actually say that in my post. But here's the thing, my motor in mine is completely shot, and I don't have the money to get everything replaced (about $2300), so I am looking for a wrecked Raptor that has the motor still intact or maybe one with a bad tranny, because my tranny is good. So, that's the scoop. Thanks for the replies.
