has anybody used a headpipe that was a different brand than the silencer? any if so what was the results? i have a big gun slip-on with a stock header and would like to purchase a header.

 

I'm not sure what kind of quad you have, but I know with warriors a lot of guys get an fmf powerbomb header because they're the best for power, but fmf's silencers aren't the greatest so they go with a WB, HMF, Yoshi, etc slip-on to get the best power gains. I think just about any header you can buy seperate from the silencer will work fine with a slip on muffler. Some of the headers that come with full systems like Alien and DG's won't work though.
