Default simple mods????? please i know everyone has some imput

How much would it be to rebuild my entire engine (if i were to send it to a dealer or a shop) a high comp. piston porting and any other little mods i can do to my engine while its takin apart.

also what other little mods would you do that is inexpensive but will give me great power gains.

i have a powercore 4 slip on is that a decent pipe or should i get a different one.

also while my quad is runing it makes a clicking type noise my dad thinks its coming from the tranny. so i changed the oil thinking i was gonna see a ton of medal shavings but there was no medal shavings.

A DG complete system is also a good way to go, with internal aftermarket parts would be goin with set of cams over sizing the valves and getting H.D. springs port the intake. 12.1 piston getting bigger carb would be nice too if u can afford it.

Stickin' with the Warrior, ay? Well anyway, I could go with a CP 10.5:1 comp piston to keep on the safe side, with a Web .430 race profile cam, Edelbrock carb, get the head ported, and last but most definetly not least, set up an oil cooler because these new mods with raise the engine temperature signifigantly.

DG pipes are just loud. Thats it. I suggest the Yoshimura full system for a good pwer gain.

Prices:
CP piston: $150 there abouts
Web Cam: $117
Edelbrock: $365.95 from motomahimahi off eBay
Porting: price depends on shop, anywhere from $150-300
Oil Cooler setup: About $100 for the parts. Find the tutorial on www.yfm350central.com
KB springs: $78
Yoshi Exhaust: $495 for the full system, $350 for the slip-on, that is the RS-3 comp stainless steel.

I will start by stating that the warrior is a very good quad when you use it for its intended purpose which is as a great trail machine or an adequate dune quad but.If i were you i would consider taking the money that you would put into your warrior and using it with the profits from the sale of your warrior to get a more high performance quad like a (raptor660,yfz450 or a ds 650) and just pipe them and you will have a superior machine in almost every way and it will be faster.Dont take this as an insult to the warrior that you already have but take it as food for thought that would be a better decision in the long run IMO.I have been riding dirt bikes ,three wheelers and quads for thirty years and i am just trying to steer you into what you will probably end up doing in the end anyways. If you do have major engine problems then the sale of your warrior might not be the best thing to do after paying the repair bill but hopefully that wont be the case.Remember this is just advice but it is advice from someone that has been at this for a very long time and if i had to do it all over again from the beginning i would have made more choices as i have suggested.Good luck.

Well if you are going to keep your warrior then i would suggest bumping up your compression as you mentioned along with the following.A proper cam choice can make all the difference. You can make some good gains by spending as much time as it takes to tweak your jetting just right.Proper gearing is a worthwhile thing to work on and use the proper fuel for your compression. It is all the little things that will add up to make big performance gains for you.Good luck.
