what quad is faster and better for the woods.

 

i own both and the 700r is a little faster and much better for the woods due to the reverse. im not sayint he 450 is bad for the woods or anything i ride my 450s in the woods all the time

 

The 450 is a little faster (acceleration) but the 700 would be better in the woods due to the softer suspension and it's incredible torque.

 

The 700r has plush suspension, reverse, and a ton of torque down low. To get the yfz's suspension smooth throught the trails you really need to push it, it likes to be ridden hard and fast and if you make a mistake on the trail it is time to get off and push it backwards instead of just locking in reverse like you can on the 700r.
