Default 660 Raptor Jetting

Hi
I have a 2001 660 Raptor with a a Yoshi slip on, stock air filter,
I bought a Dynojet Kit and installed it as per instructions with the
DJ 144 jet in the left carb, and a DJ 146 in the right I run below 3000 ft or very close.
I cut out the two flaps in the intake snorkel as instructed ,
Both mixture screws are turned out three turns as per DJ
It idles great and up to about 1/4 throttle then it stumbles and dies out?
I tried doing a search on jetting, but either something is wrong on my end or something as I can read one post then I go back and i have to reload the page ?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks D

there's something wrong with the needle setup if it starts acting up at 1/4 throttle. Did the dynojet kit for your raptor come with new needles, or just main jets?

Thank you for the quick response,
It came with new needles, and they are installed with the clip in the 4th groove from the top.

it sounds like the 4th clip is too rich. take the spark plug out, and look at the tip. what color is it? it will be black, brown, tan, or white
