Aftermarket CDI Help!!
Does anyone use an aftermarket CDI? i am in the process of replacing my cdi and the stock one is near 300 dollars and the aftermarket cdi are 50 dollars and guarntee an extra 1000 rpm..how could this be?
My wife rides it now..so im taking all the racing stuff off of it...I would sell you the dyna and disk for $250.00 if you want it...

the 1000 extra rpm claim is complete bull for the warrior. For most bikes an aftermarket CDI will raise the rev limiter 1000 rpm, but the warrior doesn't have a rev limiter to begin with. It will give you a slightly more aggressive timing curve, but probably not enough to notice it. It would still be a better idea than replacing it with another stock one, a used stock one will probably be at least $50, and at least with a new aftermarket one you don't have to take a chance of getting one that will go out in a few weeks.
