Default Need some help with Grizz charging problems

I am having problems with my Grizz not charging. I have checked the battery and it is good, as far as I can tell all connections are good. Now I'am till checking the stator. I had my ohm meter on it and I can't get a reading(I have it on the right setting). I'am checking under the gas tank where it plugs together. From my tests of idling and having the lights on while idling etc. I think it is charging. Could it be a weak charge?? Or if the stator is shot, it is shot and there is no in between?? Any help?? Thanks

no i think there can be a in between. are all your connection clean..before i tore it down i would have somebody check it for sure before i took it all apart.maybe you could tell them to check it and contact you before they go any farther.

I had the same prob. what is the reading at the battery when at an idle ? Mine was like 11.27v and when I turned the lights on it went down , even at a high rev. it would not charge the batt. enough. If you have the manual follow it , and you will find out what is wrong.I had the feeling my stator was bad and it was after spending all kinds of $$ on good parts.I saved a lot of $ buy replacing it myself. After replacing it my volts went to over 14V at an idle . This is about the 3rd one I have heard of that has gone bad on the Grizzlys . There is a variance in the #s or an in between from what I have learned, mine may have gone bad do to the middle gear seal leaking engine oil , I may have over heated my stator if that makes sense , the seal is on order. good luck.
