I want to race MX. I would be racing much lighter atvs. Do i have a chance?

 

Yes you have a chance. I race arenacross with mine and i do well. There is alot of aftermarket support for the 700r so anything you feel you need to improve on the bike after you start racing you can. I would deffinatly invest in a good plus 4 axle and some plus 2 arms. You can always get the cheap plus 2 arms for starter so you can get your stability up then go all out later on if you like the racing scene. Shorter tires help out alot two. Once you put on a set of 18s on the rear and 20 or 21s on the front you stock tires will look like ballons. Then again, you can spend all the money you want to but the only thing that is going to make you faster is alot of practice and track time. Good Luck.
