Default Wolverine Oil Change

Yeah I searched, couldn't find it so I'm wasting a post....lol....anywho...How much oil does the Wolvy hold, and also is the filter like the older big bears (some kind of mesh, maybe Brass?) and are the Mesh filters cleanable or do they need replacement?; and if the Wolvys filter is not like that, disregard that.

Thanks guys

They hold about 2-1/2 quarts of oil (that's what the 2500cm3 stamped on the clutch cover means).

The filter is the same exact filter as the big bear 350's, and also the same as the warrior and raptor 350. That might make it easier for you to find a new filter, since they're all the same.

The stock style filter isn't resuable, but you can buy resuable ones for around $35. I have a $10 Parts Unlimited oil filter on my warrior. It's made of a fine steel mesh, and it's all a smooth sheet instead of the perforated ones, so I think it's going to be easy to clean and re-use. I didn't try cleaning it yet though, so i'm not 100% sure.
