I have an extra set of rims I'd like to put 22" Mudliites on the rear. Will I need to change my sprocket? I'm currenty running 20" dominators on the rear.

You wont have to change a sprocket but it will help. When I went from 20" zippers to 22" zippers i did not have the power get out of second gear.

I doubt you would need a different sproket, but I would watch out for them bigger tires. My friend run 22in dirt devils on his 400ex and wore out the clutches bad.

Well now we know not to let you or your buddies work on our drivelines. Guess why the clutch went? Maybe if he would have geared it correctly to make up for the change in tire size and weight it wouldnt have burnt out so fast or bad. More careful application of the clutch can also make a huge difference in it's life with larger tires.
