I would like to purchase a 700R this summer. I have a 2004 660 now, getting 30-35 miles per gallon on the trails. Can anyone share the milage their getting with the 700R in stock mode. I know it has a smaller gas tank. Thanks for your help!

 

I would be surprised if mileage don't go up with the new FI.

 

I heard you get the same milage to the tank as the 660. The 660 has a bigger tank by like half a gallon

 

I get much better milage out of the 700 than the 660. I did 95km on 7 litres last weekend. I think it holds about 12 - 13 litres. I wasnt going flat out the whole time tho, just average trails riding, hill climbs and stuff.

 

Went trail riding last sunday, 60 miles on 2.5 gallons = 24 mile / gallon. Mileage determined by mounted GPS unit. Machine has less than 100 miles on it. Hope this mileage gets better![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I use just over 4 gallons for 75 miles, but that dont tell you squat about a 700 does it!!

 

Rode 49 miles on Sunday---- 2 gallons , 8 ounces of gas--fuel light was on steady at the finish.
