Raptor 350 porting

Default Raptor 350 porting

I would lke to get a port and polish for my raptor 350. How much should it cost? Will I absolutlely NEED to get anything? will i notice a big diffrence? Thanx

Default Raptor 350 porting

I paid about $65 to get my head ported by a local shop that has a lot of experience with these motors. I don't really think the polishing does much or is worth the extra money. It's not back together yet, we're still waiting on the gaskets, piston, valve seals, and cam chain to get here so we can get it put back together. When I get it back together I can let you know how it does, but i'm getting a high compression piston too, and the rings were screwed before, so I won't be able to say for sure how much of the power came from the porting, and how much of it was from the piston. It's definitely going to be faster though!

Default Raptor 350 porting

well i know that a good raptor (5 valve) port job cost 450.00...And im trying to remember what i paid for my warrior port job (2 valve) umm i think i paid like 150.00 to 175.00.. And yes you will fill a little diffents in power...
