Does dropping to a 12 tooth sprocket relieve tranny stress or increase it?

 

from what I have seen it does help last longer with a lighter weight rider!

 

What do you think about the reverse theory?Im the second owner on the raptor I bought it from a friend of mine who I ride with and he beat the snot out of it.Do you think leaving it all stock will help.I herd mostly guys with the after market goodies were cooking the trannys.I would like to know how many guys with stock quads had problems.

 

Reverse theory? meaning that using the reverse helps degrade the trans in an 01 ? I dont believe it.
