Does the tusk shifters eliminate the stock linkage? If so how well does this work? The stock shifters seem a little sloppy with the linkage.

The tusk shifters are the same design as the yamaha shifter, they just look better and are a little lighter. The warrior has the same sloppy linkage design as the raptor, so I bought a custom made direct shifter for mine.

My friend made that same mistake, he's looking to get an IMS or Pro design now. Chozen, IMS/Roll Design, Pro Design, and I think maybe another company make direct shifters for the rap.

The IMS steel shifter is a direct mount and works very well. I ran it for a few months and it was a dramatic improvement over stock. It's usually only 35 bucks or so.

I bought the IMS stamped-steel shifter from a guy on ebay. Their ebay ID was hellbound-racing. They have one up right now on ebay. Do a search for "IMS Direct" if the below link does not work.

BTW, I absolutely am happy with the one I bought.

The gravel pit in Bergen, is that the snowmobile trail? I have never been to tug hill, where is that? What is the hojack line? The trails in Henrietta are right near me. I have never been given a hard time about riding them. Were your buddies atv's registered?

Tughill is 30 miles from watertown. There is like 500 miles of legal trails to ride on.The more you go the more you learn the place. How are the trails in henrietta? The hojack line is a old railroad bed.We start at the kandk on route 19.Tug hill takes 2 hours to get there but I think its worth it.
