Last trip out my 01 Banshee got stuck in 3rd gear. Any one ever had something like that happen? What is it? Any help would be great......

 

2 weekends ago, a new guy in our group had that happen in Glamis on the other side of Comp. I dont know how to fix it though sorry.

 

I would recommend pulling the clutch cover and examining the pivot shaft and shift star inter-action. If that seems fine, then you may have to do what I did when my got stuck: while someone rotated the rear tires, I yanked like *ell on the shifter. It came unstuck. While I was afraid I may break something inside I knew it was unrideable as is so I felt I had nothing to lose.....

 

If your shifting forks are bent, you will need to split the case's and replace them.
